Ebay is a good site to go on, once you are in the market for cheap used tires. Ask for the complete history of the product you are considering, including its usage and mileage done. The age of the tire is important, because tires that have even other wise not been much used can show fine cracks due to age and climatic wear. Avoid tires that are more than 5 or 6 years old as failures on such tires can be sudden and without warning.
